The work consists of textile sculptures that combine bamboo sticks with fabrics. They are part of the result of a research project that had its starting point in old flying kites. A series of pieces have been made, through playful experiments with shape and construction, where bamboo sticks function as skeletons carrying textiles. Techniques included are also textile print and handsewn applique.
